Open-minded by default

I hold my opinions loosely. Frameworks, languages, patterns, none of them are tribes to me, just tools that are either right or wrong for the job in front of us.

That means I actually enjoy being challenged in code review, and I treat user feedback and data as the tiebreaker, not seniority or who shouted loudest. Strong opinions, loosely held.

Being open-minded also means listening before building. The fastest way to waste a month is to fall in love with a solution before you've understood the problem.
