Exploring new things

I don't wait for permission to learn something new. If a problem needs a tool I've never touched, I go and touch it, on nights and weekends if I have to, until it stops feeling foreign.

That curiosity is why my 4 years of experience span hospitality, telecom, entertainment, automotive, and security tooling. Each one forced me into an unfamiliar domain, and each one made me a more useful engineer than the last.

Exploring isn't a distraction from the work for me, it is the work. The most interesting products live just past the edge of what I already know.
